Turn off the lights…this is how we try to fight it.
Turn on the lights…this is how you truly fight it.

Since I am graduating college in December, I have lots of decisions to make, a big one being whee i should live. After being torn about where, i thought about where I would want to be if i had a few months to live. Then my answer was clear…Home…the place where most of my friends and family are.
Do you have anything to share?
I overheard something that I hear quite often while attending a culturally diverse university. A Indian guy was talking about how most Indian parents want their kids to be a doctor or an engineer…something that is deemed as “important” or “secure”. He mad it seem like it was less about finical security, and more about status. Their parents want to be able to tell others that ” my daughter is a doctor” or “my son is an engineer.” He went on to talk about how he had a passion to do something else to help people.
it doesn’t mean that you actually are :)
I want to do some kind of a project about awkward situations and how to overcome them…about making the most of moments to learn about others and ourselves.
Are there any stories you want to share? Any opinions on this? Anything you discovered about yourself or others?
